SECC – Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre

The 2020 Conference takes place in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), a flexible, purpose-built venue which was officially opened by HM the Queen in November 1985.

Located on the banks of the River Clyde, and part of the Riverside Campus, the SECC is Scotland’s largest centre and is the premier national venue for public events, concerts and conferences.

The fantastic conference facilities at the SECC include 2 purpose built auditoria, 17 meeting rooms and five exhibition halls. The SECC has a fantastic track record for staging major international conferences and an experienced venue team making it the perfect venue to host the World Biomaterials Congress (WBC) in 2020.

The SECC is an iconic landmark with facilities which are second to none including; a business centre, four on-site hotels, numerous restaurants, cafes and bars, parking for 2,865 vehicles and its own railway station with frequent services right into the heart of the city centre.
